Physical Therapy focuses on regaining mobility, muscle strengthing, gait training, and range-of-motion.
Therapeutic Recreation is an integral component of the treatment therapies available to residents. Individual and group activities are designed specifically to meet the needs of each resident. A wide variety of activities are available to accommodate the varying levels of care.
The Restorative Nursing program offers residents a chance to continue to reach their maximum functional abilities even when the formalized therapy services have ended. The Restorative Nursing program is designed by the interdisciplinary team and can focus on any area of need, including exercise, ambulation, continence retraining, and self-help.
Wound Care management and therapies are provided by a skilled Wound Care Team. Wound prevention is an on-going focus, and quick attention is given to pressure and surgical wounds. Each wound treatment is specifically designed for the individual to maximize the healing process.
Social Services provide support to residents and their families, including financial planning, emotional support, discharge planning, and individual and group counseling.
Respite Services are available to those needing a short-term stay at the Center. It provides families with the peace of mind of 24-hour care for their loved one. Respite stays can be arranged easily in a short period of time.
